Since 2009 KTI has held four Local Produce Markets a year in Kingsley, with the idea that we encourage and promote local business while helping people realise that there is an answer to the supermarkets and larger business.
The markets continue to be successful and have expanded to take on local crafts, advertise local business and services and help the schools, youth groups, churches and local clubs/societies raise awareness and funds.
The dates are set for our 2016 markets and are as follows:
Local jobs are important and by purchasing local produce you are are helping protect these jobs and the local economy.
There are plenty of reasons why buying locally grown food is good for you:-
By buying locally, often from the producers themselves, you speak to the local suppliers and you know where the food comes from.
On Saturday 10 December 2016 KTI will be holding our Winter/Christmas Local Produce Market at Kingsley Community Centre between 9.30am and 1.00pm.
If you're a LOCAL producer selling LOCAL produce within a 20 mile radius of Kingsley and would like a stall at the market then please contact Simon Sherlock for further details.
Follow us on Twitter to keep track of who will be at our next market, and other KTI relevant news.
